  • We just moved in the area and this was my first choice to visit for coffee and SO glad I did. My husband and I got lattes that were so so good! Inside was a great space, cozy, with big open windows and some outdoor seating. Can’t wait to come back to try other menu items.

  • This coffee shop is perfect. The owner is warm and friendly and he makes a very yummy flat white. The atmosphere is a mix of magic and serenity with gorgeous modern art hanging on the walls and delivery bikes with Zav on it. I stepped in for a quick coffee to go, but changed my mind and stayed. I’ll definitely be back.

  • I’ve been coming to Zav’s for the last two or three years, and it’s easily one of my favourite places to study, go on a casual date, or just catch up with a friend. The coffee, lattes, teas, and snacks are all great, but what really makes this place special is Zav himself. He’s always personable, welcoming, and genuinely kind. I’ve even seen him go out of his way to open the door for moms with strollers when he can. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot to enjoy a drink or a snack, and an even better one to get some work done. P.S. The art on the walls is beautiful and really adds to the atmosphere.

  • For the first time to write a review, but this cafe was just amazing I really appreciate the polite, careful and sophisticated manners from the gentleman with beard, in striped T-shirts. He was cool and amazing. Also the iced americano and the iced latte tasted the best in Toronto ever for me!

  • A local favourite café on the Danforth! The owner is super kind and the place is super nice with its fair share of regulars. The interior is lovingly decorated with plants, a painting of the owner, artsy decor, comfy seating and overall has a nice vibe. It is a calm space with lowkey but upbeat music that the owner plays while he works. A great place to chill or study! I came in to get some pastries for my sister and got a Hot Cocoa to go. The Hot Cocoa was one of the best I’ve ever! Rich, piping hot, and not too sweet. It was so perfect on a winter’s day like today. I wanted to get their famous brownies but they were sold out! Instead I got a ginger cookie and chocolate chip cookie, and my sister loved them. A family member of mine recently visited and snagged a brownie for me before they were all gone! I can confirm: the brownies were rich, chocolatey, luscious and super filling! The best brownies I’ve ever had. There were many customers inside who got their “usual” and the owner knew them by name. Truly a local gem of a spot! I’ll definitely be back for more Hot Cocoa and brownies!

  • Ten stars for the ambiance! Beautiful art on the walls and in the morning they play classical music . Lots of space, comfortable, ergonomic seating and the Wi-Fi was 125 down and 250 up. Extraordinary, talented barista. The cappuccino and the hot cocoa were perfect. This is the type of place we seek out in our travels.

  • Here’s a clean, polished version of your review: --- Artsy-style coffee shop with great coffee, delicious cookies, good music and beautiful artwork on the walls. The owner has strong art-student vibes, so don’t come expecting Starbucks or plush sofas. It’s more like grabbing an espresso in a brightly lit gallery. You’ll mostly find solo customers enjoying their drinks with open laptops on firm chairs. I haven’t experience this when I brought my little one, but I’ve heard that unruly children and their caregivers have been asked to leave. Perfect for what it is—just don’t try to make it into something it’s not and choose your establishment accordingly. I personally love it when I'm in the mood.
